Crimson A.S.P.

(Assault Systems Pod)

The Cobra Assault Systems Pod was created with multitasking in mind. Able to function as an anti-aircraft, anti-armor or anti-personnel weapon. The ASP also has a very unique capability, where the operators cockpit can actually elevate by 90 degrees, allowing the ASP to be placed in elevated areas and fire down at opposing forces. That and being able to rotate the cockpit and weapons systems a full 360 degrees, all by operator control without assistance, makes the ASP a perfect drop and forget defensive fortification. One well placed and well concealed ASP can lay ruin to any advancing force. A.S.P.'s have become common place within Cobra as they can be scene defending almost all Cobra installations and or in tow behind a Stinger or HISS tank during almost any launched offensive.

Crimson Brigade Variation

In the past decade the Crimson Guard has grown to such numbers that they are now considered The Commanders own personal army within Cobra. A Headquarters, numerous outposts and housing for their trainees were created and with them the need for defensive artillery. The Crimson A.S.P. is used both in defense and the rare occasion that the Crimson Brigade is called upon in the field. Simply a re-deco version of the original it still fills its purpose as the Crimson Guard grows more and more self reliant, so does their desire to remove Cobra's regular forces away from their operations to become a completely self sustained unit, the commission of the Crimson ASP is just a step in the right direction.
