Aleph (Night Creeper Leader)
We live in a world where organizations fund private armies to protect their assets. Even superpowers such as the United States chose highly trained private sector soldiers to perform certain tasks that may show them in a bad, political light, if their own military was used. In the Nineties the world watch as Mercenary companies such as "Executive Outcomes", brought peace to war torn nations in Africa, with only 1/60 the manpower of the United Nations. Even today, the demand for such hired soldiers grows higher and higher, and The Night Creepers answer that call.
Centered around a board of directors and employing scores of lawyers and Investment consultants, the Night Creepers use state of the art weaponry mixed with old world Marital arts to accomplish their objectives. At the head of the boardroom table sits Aleph, the mastermind behind the Night Creepers. With a past shrouded in mystery, no one knows of his origin or how he came to power. Those that have come close, tend to disappear.
Creator's Notes
Finally in 2004 we see the re-release of the Night Creeper mold and with it the ability to increase my ranks in the Night Creeper army. For a long time I wanted to create this custom, even as far back as my first Dio-story An Eye for An Eye. Mainly because Alpha played such a large role in that story, and in my universe, his story is not yet complete. When Hasbro deemed it necessary to create a Night Creeper Leader back in the nineties, what they gave us was a bright orange monstrosity, that barely resembled the "Aleph" character that was introduced during the DIC GI Joe cartoon. I dared not even go to that mold with this figure. I wanted to create an Alpha figure that used similar colors to the current Night Creeper release in the urban set, but to also use the cammo pattern from the original figure. Consider this figure to be Alpha in his Battle uniform and rest assured that I have plans to complete a different head sculpt that can be used for his time at the boardroom table."
