Pit Fall (Arctic Uniform)

His name was once Michael Dawson, Staff Sergeant and Airborne Ranger in the U.S Army, until a horrible accident claimed the life of his wife and child. It left him suicidal and self destructive. Giving in to rage while on deployment, he disobeyed a direct order, and choose to save a young girl from a horrible fate but ended up causing a blood bath with the lives of a political alley of the United States. His imminent court marshal was halted by the CIA and he was given a choice, to give up his identity and join an unsanctioned hit squad that worked secretly but directly for the U.S. Government or serve out his fate with the Army. After years of successful missions and training, Michael Dawson, now known only as Pit Fall was captured by Cobra, imprisoned and tortured. Before long he escaped, only to find himself stranded in the Congo Rainforest, where he managed to survive for three months before rescue. He was never able to deal with his return to the real world and so, went into hiding.

Creator's Notes

Pit Fall was the lead character in my last Dio-story, Operation Rapier. Which covered events in his life that but him in the position of having unique knowledge that could assist the GI Joe team on a mission against Cobra. This Arctic version of the character was created for a group project at the Toy News International Forums and will later be seen in a Dio constructed by Hammerfel (Fellow Dio-story Author and creator of the Joe Dios Website.)
