The path to becoming a naval officer in Cobra is one that many fail to ever complete. Naval Officers are culled from Cobras officer training schools and then dropped into Eel teams to either sink or swim. The hard fighting men of Cobras Eels take their toll and either shape them into killers of the deep or let them fall behind to become shark bait. Once Eel training is complete the candidates find themselves at the helm of a Cobra Hydrofoil as a Cobra Lamprey. The high speeds and adrenaline pumping pressure of a Hydrofoil boat officer can crack even the most trained military minds. Once completed its back into the deep, serving aboard a Cobra BUGG or Hammerhead, learning to cope with life aboard a submarine and fighting wars blind with only sonar to tell you what you're shooting at.

The journey to ever serve aboard the bridge of one of Cobras extremely secretive naval vessels is long and hard and is aimed at teaching its officers to understand the true meaning of survival and tactics. These men know what their grunts and pilots and capable of and what they go through because they've been through it themselves. They are cold and calculating. Highly educated in mathematics, tactics and enemy weapons. Able to command any one of Cobras naval craft as well as pick up a rifle and join the fray.

Loyal to Cobra Commander to the last and ready to do whatever it takes to assure complete victory over Cobras enemies. The Ships of Cobra's Naval armada appear to be nothing more than freighters from outside but within contain the same high tech electronics and weapons that any Destroyer or Aircraft carrier possesses. These are the men that run those ships and bide their time until the very moment they are ordered to strike.
