What started out as research into remote weapons platform technology, became the answer to creating the most versatile soldier today’s military has ever seen, the M.A.R.S. corporation developed a back worn helicopter / weapons platform that would allow troops the ability to go nearly anywhere at high speeds and intercept their targets with computer targeting accuracy. While a remote controlled unit can complete missions without the risk of a human life, they still fall short due to human error. Battles are no longer fought head to head. How dose a technician in an air-conditioned bunker know the right strategy to smoke out a soldier fighting in a gorilla war? They don’t, and so the Annihilator became a reality.
Selected from the most successful of Destro’s Iron Grenadiers, the Annihilator is considered the most elite and deadly of all Destro’s forces. Able to be deployed by sea, air and land with a range of 250 miles or three hours of continuous hover. Due to the expense of their high tech heli-packs, the Annihilator is usually used for high profile missions only or as a personal bodyguard for Destro himself.
