Metal-head started out as one of Destro’s rising stars in the field of surface-to-surface missiles targeting systems design. Considered a brilliant engineer with a doctorate in aeronautical psychics. His future was promised to be full of wealth and all the pleasures life has to offer, but that was not what Metal-head had planned for himself. His concept of creating an integrated targeting computer and mobile missile system that could be worn by a soldier on foot, seemed a little far-fetched, until he invented it.
The system turned an ordinary soldier into the ultimate anti-tank weapon, able to launch high explosive laser guided missiles from a computer automated backpack rack or hip mounted holstered tube. The unit does all the work for you, by using built in sensors all throughout the suit, all the user has to do is make visual contact, allow the system to acquire the target, read range and trajectory, and once given the green light in their visor display, say “BANG” to complete the firing sequence. Being armed with six, laser guided high explosive missiles, allows a single soldier to make a mess of an entire column to armor.
Metal-head gave this technology, patent free, to the M.A.R.S. Corporation under just one request, to be accepted into the Iron Grenadiers training camp, and upon graduation, be given the first system of his design that rolled off the assembly line. Needless to say he graduated with flying colors, the man loves his work and is often found with a smile from ear to ear after decimating an armored vehicle in the heat of battle.
