Mountain Assault Trooper

Rock Vipers fill a nitch in Cobra's Viper forces. Serving as a multi-specialized trooper that can always enter from the path of most resistance.

Rappelling down sheer cliff walls or scaling impossible vertical climbs, Rock Vipers always have a tendency to show up in places the enemy least expects, with the fire power and training to complete any mission. Whether it's a sniper assassination, working a laser for guided incision bombing, advanced recon or sabotage, the Rock viper is the man for the job.

Rock Vipers are armed with high-powered assault rifles that can easily double as a medium range sniper rifle with "firefly" advanced tactical scopes that can switch between laser range find, infrared, ultraviolet or thermal vision. The small hand-gun can fire any manner of projectile fitted to it's chamber, from rappelling hooks, grenades, darts or bullets (All courtesy of the M.A.R.S. corporation). The highly automated pack of a Rock Viper is conected directly to the their helmet and can be controlled with simply verbal commands, allowing them to hang, drop or climb while completing other tasks. Their uniform employs an active camo system that adjusts to it's surrounding, making Rock Vipers impossible to see by the naked eye at far distances.

 

The typical Rock Viper spends the majority of their free time in constant training and tend to cross train within other units so that a single Rock Viper squad can complete just about any objective.
